hello and welcome to all !! my name is jaiyana or jai if u prefer (i have no preference) and i wanna say thank you for joining my group! ure welcome to introduce yourself under this forum!

I'm eighteen from the US and created this group as a space for black people who consider themselves alternative. This place is open to people of all alternative subcultures (i fall into scene/emo). I feel like being black in alt spaces is a unique experience that connects us and having one large space will help build our community. feel free to chat, ask questions, or even promote ur work if youre a creator!

reiterating my rules - don't be a dickhead here, you will be swiftly removed. this is a welcoming space for people of all genders, sexualities, religons, etc. dont be a creep please and thank you. and if anyone is interested in becoming a moderator (that understands spacehey a lot better than me hopefully) please just shoot me a message!

i'm soleil or sol and 21 yo in the us. i use any prns. i don't have one subculture that i fall under aesthetic wise, but i love nu metal, breakcore, alt hiphop, n alt rnb, and i'm recently getting into heavy metal and screamo. i love all genres though, and i'm really trying to find more black alternative artists too, so recs are always recommended.

Hi, im Tee! im 19 and i love anime, manga, art, and zoology. I love alternative fashion, but lowkey im lazy so i only dress that way like 40% of the time lol. My music taste is all over the place—rock, metal, soul/neosoul, and synth/electropop. Im open to chatting and im tryna be on here more, but with the semester coming up i might disappear sometimes ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
