Another album I've listened to before and enjoy. I've always really loved how Mark Knopfler doesn't play with a pick like how the fuck do you do that? It's really an amazing technique he has on the guitar. He has such a smooth tone on the guitar on this record, I also recently watched sinners and I totally found a connection between some of the slide guitar on this record and in that movie. Just overall such an enjoyable listen to a record. I found this CD at goodwill so I listened to it in the car, I gave myself some bonus points for that. Side note I really love the album cover. I might make a whole new group to blog about album artwork but that's tbd.... Favorite tracks: Down to the Waterline, Six Blade Knife, Southbound Again, and Sultans of Swing.
