Looking for Email and Browser alternatives.

I've been using Proton and Tuta as my main email addresses but I have been having issues with proton, I needed to change my password but recovery is really difficult. I need a free alternative that jsnt from any big tech, if anyone knows any.

As for a browser... Ive been using Vivaldi, but on my computer it has been working terribly. It logs me out of every site everytime I refresh it or even close it, cookies are activated, history is activated and still, t keeps logging me out. I want a browser that doesnt have a stupid ai assistant nor any ai bullshittery, and I should be good. I wanted to try mullvad but im unsure if its free or not. Thanks for your time.
