mostly just scroll through forums and groups to find peoples profiles and add them if they're into similar things as you ^-^
I wish they had chat rooms to make it a bit easier to find people but this is the way it is here so we gotta make do!

First I want too say that it depends what device you are using. When I'm on my tablet, its hard to view others profile especially if they have a loading screen and messages don't work.
Making friends: Go to browse or stay at your homepage and you will see new people or online people. I recommend that you look at their profile and read it bc they'll say their dni and their ages and interests which will help you make connections.
Notifs: They will be a little bell on your home icon.
Adding friends: Go to profile and press 'Add to friends'
I thinks there more but I'm new as well however that's my experience!
