Don't Tap the Glass - Tyler the Creator (2025)

Don't Tap the Glass - Wikipedia

Tyler dropped this album at least to my knowledge out of nowhere. I wouldn't say I'm necessarily a Tyler fan but I used to listen to him a lot more when I was younger, mostly around Goblin - Cherry Bomb and I kind of stopped listening around the time of Flower Boy. I respect him a lot as an artist and it's been cool to see passively the creative routes he's taken with his more recent projects like IGOR and CHROMAKOPIA. This album though was short and the video I saw of Stop Playing with Me (which had clipse in it btw i drooled) was upbeat enough and fun that I wanted to check out the album, and I actually really enjoyed it. Some super catchy parts, really fun to dance to which is Tyler's main focus of this album it seems. I think he did a great job with the production especially when you consider he was on tour while recording this. I saved a few songs and go back to them periodically, not something you have to listen front to back but some songs are worth checking out. My favorites are Big Poe, Stop Playing with Me, and Don't Tap That Glass / Tweakin'.
