dream entity in my home??

okay, so, im gonna start this off by saying i havent really experienced anything paranormal up until the time this happened. it was so weird, and i was scared off my ass about it for like a week.

so, i'm going to sleep. middle of the night, tired as hell, been scrolling for god knows how long. i lie down, trying NOT to think of the weirdest things my brain could conjure up. (it's a problem of mine.) a couple minutes in and i'm already on a trip to dreamland. immediately, i feel like i'm somehow still awake, but resting at the same time. i feel something watching me from the kitchen. (i sleep in the livingroom, bedroom is currently a mess.) i "look" over to see it. it was floating.. it somewhat resembled no-face from spirited away, despite the fact that at the time, i hadn't seen or thought of that movie in years. it was all black, foggy, and somewhat shaped like an upside-down teardrop. it had a face that looked like a white mask with simple features seemingly drawn on with black paint. i felt terrified, so in my "dream," i try imagining things i find funny. it didn't work. so, as a somewhat primal and stupid effort to get away, i began growling in hopes of .. scaring it off.. or something like that. (listen, i felt barely sentient, don't judge me on my half-awake attempts to fend off demons). ah, also, i forgot to mention. i couldn't move the WHOLE time other than my eyes. so, i continued growling (sigh) and attempted to shake my body to get up, because at that point i knew i wasn't actually "awake." eventually, it worked. i sat up and looked over to the kitchen, and it was gone. my house was empty, and i was fine. but, i was still scared shitless and didn't want to go to bed. so that was fun! whee-hoo.
