What are your speculations for the meanings of different Lemon Demon songs? (Btw the rant was for something else so if parts of it don’t make sense here, that’s why.)

I know why Neil created the song, I’ve watched the album commentary; it’s about a conspiracy theorist calling the AM radio over and over again, to which the operator humors him. It’s also about the time Neil and his dad got a red touch-tone telephone and accidentally called 911. But I’ve seen a lot of interesting takes on the song by people who haven’t heard the album commentary. I’ve heard a take that the person calling the AM radio is in love with the operator, which is a personal favorite of mine. Neil’s discography is so unique, one song is about American exceptionalism, and the next is about eating crayons. Though its sound is not my favorite, I also love the story of Amnesia Was Her Name. It IS what having memory loss feels like (according to my own experiences, and that of others I know). In case you are unaware, Amnesia Was Her Name is about a patient with Amnesia falling in love with their doctor, but due to their amnesia they were unaware the person they were in love with was their doctor and their mind filled with in the gaps by making up a whole new person.
