William and Sly's fandom is really small and most of the fans are in a server where thw creator is. There were about 100 people there iirc?
Dead Space's fandom is still quite active but definetly isn't the most influential, Dead space hasn't gained popularity again even after the remake, which ia a shame because that game is great. Most of the fans are older people who have been playing for years now, only few people are younger or got introduced recently to dead space, when they are introduced recently, usually it was because of being in contact with someone who already was a old fan, that was my case for example.
I've NEVER seen the fandom of Who's Lila, I don't know a singke soul who partakes in fandom activities or spaces of this game or still talks about it. Which is also a dhame because its another grrat game.
I think older media that could be considered cult classics or just rally important medias for their time are getting more and more forgotten by the younger generations, and when I mean cult classics I mean the more recent, modern ones, that concerns me a lot tbh, I met teens that didn't know what shrek was for example. I wish I knew why that happens, Its not like shrek lacks cultural relevance nowadays, despite being quite old its a big part of meme culture still... I don't know.
It's not like I can complain much since I don't know the older classics too much. But it's certainly a interesting thing I noticed, at least of feels like the disconnect from classics seek more noticeable nowadays.
Or maybe I think that underground media are classics when they aren't.
