Please help! Problems with putting pictures from blogs into profile!!

So I've been using code to put various gifs and pictures into my profile, this is the code <img src=LINK HERE/> and I've been putting in the image address, and it usually works, but when I go to a blog post with images on spacehey, and get the image address, and use the same code, the images won't load in!! All that appears is that little placeholder icon. Although, one time it has worked. Every other time hasn't PLEASE HELP ME I wanted to use blog posts to store my pictures to use later! If you know what is wrong or how to fix this, please comment!!
