watching very old videos on youtube sometimes feels very strange.. especially when the video is from 15+ years ago and has timestamps. i just think how quickly time passes by and how we'd never get a replay of our memories and it just becomes something that grows to be more distant from us, now in the past :(

i feel this way too, when i am interacting with/exploring anything from
the old(er) web... sometimes i rewatch videos or revisit sites i used to inhabit when i was a child and it'll envelope me with this sort of melancholic nostalgia for a time i'll never be able to relive. and one day those artifacts will be gone too, like the time that has passed. but i guess there's not much point in feeling sad about it when the present moment will become just a memory as well, it is an unfortunate aspect of life
