sooo am alt and i just really badly want a massive alt friend group who i can go out too the mall with and go to shows, i have friends irl however i dont have any full blown in the alt scene friends. by that i mean they dont go to gigs or really go out, idk i just want some cool friendz theres cool alt kids at my school however most of them are younger then me am friendly with them but i dont wanna be that one loser who just hangz around with younger years all the timeeee AHAHA please give me adviceeeeeeee ive even tried looking on here yet no one respondssssssssss

i'd say just go out and compliment people on their clothes in public spaces. tell them their outfit is cool and if they just say "thx" then ask them where they bought it and so on. socializing is tricky, but cool people are everywhere.
it would also be good to look at local clubs or events in your area such as on craigslist or other websites (but do NOT meet in private places and get kidnapped obvi). I know my library has teen spaces and events for ppl my age. perhaps yours does?
ooh and since you mentioned gigs, you can try talking to alt people at those events. just find out where your crowd goes and follow them!! hope this helps even a lil
