Hi everyone, I'm planning on taking the Amtrak route with a private roomette to go from Los Angeles to Seattle. Has anyone here taken this trip before? If so, what tips and tricks do you have/advice for the long ride? I want to stay in Seattle for two full days, potentially meet up with a friend, but I'd also love to check out some local queer places and events. I plan on taking this trip during mid-August, so most pride events will be over, obviously, but I'd like to check out some popular bars that see a lot of movement year-round. I'm wondering on whether to stay in Los Angeles as well. I'm conflicted, given the protests that have been going on right now. I absolutely cannot get arrested for my own sake, even if I would love to participate. So, perhaps San Diego would work better. Looking for advice on this portion too. If anybody has any events/places along the West Coast that they'd recommend looking into, I'd highly appreciate that too!
