WHAT GOT YOU INTO TYPOLOGY: i sucked at understanding people, so when i learned of this, i thought of being able to analyse people based on what they do or say or think or feel, and match it according to the most likely MBTI type and enneagram type. yeah, i know, it's cringe. but that was what i originally got into typology for.

HOBBIES: 3d printing, programming, cybersecurity stuff, watching anime, culinary experiments (cooking and baking), touching grass.

Hello, people of the internet (PS & Fumiko).  How have online chat-spaces developed your understandings of typology?  Have you folks always stuck to more "complete," non-discussion-driven sources?  

...I first encountered enneagram about 5 years ago after I had just turned 14.  My mother and brother had routed through a pile of a relative's old literature and, discovering Helen Palmer's 1991 book on the Enneagram, had been eagerly inclined to share their newfound knowledge.  At some point, in a discussion separate from myself, they appraised my character and concluded that I was either 9 or 5 - a determination which has stuck.  

I've since kept my interest , waxing and waning as it does through the years, through discovering "Psychosophy" and its Integral book "Syntax of Love."  My experience with typology has been pretty shallow, and outside of Psychosophy, even shallower.  Still, something about it tickles my brain and keeps me coming back.  Maybe it's the process of discovery ...but that'd sound too corny to admit.

Nowadays, although -being a young adult- I barely have a solid personality, I would consider my type to shape up to be:  5w6 sp/sx 594, IN <-(Jungian), FLEV, |R|cxai <-(BIG 5).
