The political side of our subcultures

So I know punk started of very political in the UK with anti-authority messages (God Save the Queen) Though I don't know about the emo side political stance. I really want to know more about it even if it isn't as prominent as it is in punk. Because their are """"Conservative punk"""" But that is impossible because punk is inherently about accepting people who are different and changing the future and in the USA conservatives are the exact opposite of punk and are diluting the message of punk.
