So, while I was producing some short college film, I accidentally developed this habit where if I had a pencil, pen and paper, I would start drawing these city maps inspired by the maps of the GTA games (the ones from the 3D universe were the strongest influence for the design of these maps).
It all started when I tried to design a clock using a piece of paper. I didn't want to go for a simple one - I wanted a more surreal and complex one with a more subtle design. Cue, a born habit.
This doesn't mean every sketch and drawing I've done has been solely these: I'm able to still do other things, but this was a new development that continues to be with me today. Now, there is something that does unfortunately come as a side effect - leaving it unfinished.
For most of the maps, I end up leaving them unfinished, to be shelved away on top of a drawer next to my desk. As much as I love drawing these maps, I also don't like constantly leaving them in the dark for an indefinite period.
So this is my question: Is there some sort of specific thing you've been drawing constantly lately, yet leave unfinished mostly for an indefinite period?
