The fall of AMV and Art Community on the internet

First I saw about Birdie's controversy, and now Twisted-Doctor's and made me wonder... Is the AMV/art Community really falling apart? I've also seen some TikTok controversies like with the jelly artstyle, and thiss tuff is quite fucked up. Not just by people who complain about someone's art style and get to extreme points, but also because of how bad  a person can be when they cannot recognise their mistakes (for example, certain animators). Honestly, shit scares me.

Are birdies and twisted-doctors controversies recent? Because they've had shit on them since I was in the AMV community in around 2018 LMFAO; I think everything ebb and flows. Ppl will have shit happen in communities all the time. It'll rebound, just have fun and talk to people. A lot of controversies are in a lens where it is a lot louder and real than it really is, it is a small amount of people making a big deal out of nothing. (i.e artstyle controversy and stuff. creators should be aware they have an audience)

bad shit happens all the time. and this will NOT kill an entire community. it may change or move to another platform. but it will absolutely not die. do not despair. that shit is the WORST. just create and help the community thrive. PEACE

i'm not too sure about the AMV community but i feel like the art community & animation meme on certain sites/apps is kinda going quiet ? i've seen alot of people say they fear posting their art on tiktok or twitter because they're scared of being bullied or made fun of :/ i know sites like sheezy.art & deviantart are still thriving with people posting their stuff. same with tumblr so. im not sure
