Hey people, currently struggling with insomnia. So far i have tried:
- a sleep therapist
- a set routine before going to bed
- not laying in bed during the day and only laying in bed when im about to sleep
- showering before going to bed
- yoga
- those weird hypnosis youtube vidoes
- mindfullness
- running
- p90x workouts
- eating healthier
- quiting caffeine
- melatonine (gives me migraines:( )
- covering myself in baby Zwitsal nighty night lavender lotion
- covering myself in calming natural oils (this just felt gross, sensory nightmare)
- drinking a litre of warm milk (i got diarhea)
- watching those youtube history lectures
- sleeping upside down
- sleeping with an icepack and sleeping with a hot water bottle
- weed (expensive :( and weird dreams )
- hard reset by not sleeping for a whole night, just going about my day and going to bed at a reasonable hour the next night
- those weird military breathing techniques
(oh yeah i also have a weighted blanket)
Does anybody have any other suggestions/tips/hacks to get my sleeping schedule on track again?
At this point im starting to sort of halucinate like little insects and like fruiflies floating around my vision so i look like a crazy person just swatting air apparently sos.
