Hey, I have been so lost on how do ppl make lgbtq friends irl? I go to uni and it seems like all of the gays are so tight and they seem cool and I wished I had that community in high school, but it feels like I'm not gay enough or cool enough to enter that scene. How do y'all do it??

It's the same as making friends in general. Be yourself (or if you don't know how to yet then take time to figure yourself out). Put yourself out there and your naturally gravitate towards people who you'll fit in with. There are undoubtedly other gay people like you out there!

So for me, I had this girl in my class and we had alot in common. I didn't even know I was gay at that time. We have been friends ever since then. I met new people either through her, or though "gay spaces". A gay space around me is the queer bookstore, that revolves around queer couples, feminism and identity. Another one is like a politicial meeting about climate change which everyone can join. In generell, it's either good to be "forced" to see them regually, eg through a course you take together or break into these "clusters" or gay people
