(web or physical) comic recommendations

i NEED to read more comics. good or bad. give me them all. a few words why its interesting are very appreciated ! just. PLEASE no manga. i have SO much manga, its starting to pile up to my nose. almost to the point i cannot breathe.

i will start with a few of the ones that i am already reading/have already read:

Boska Cząstka Korposzczura Winona Tesli - one of the craziest and most FUN books i managed to snag physical copies of. a surreal spiral. where every page REEKS of all the fun. both the writer and the illustrator had working on it.

Scott Pilgrim - classic. saw the anime first and had to look into the source/prequel. read it in one day. in a haze. dont remember much other than. its cool !

RELAY RELAY RELAY!!!! also Slow and Steady (webtoons) - huge fan of the author (flip down yonder) and their art. its both good and bad in the most charming and wonderful way. stories are very captivating. huge ONE vibes. esp with Mob Psycho 100

The Sound of Your Heart (webtoon) - one of the first webcomics that i have read and it stuck to me. like some leech. i had great fun reading. but i am a little scared to re-read it after 7 years. crazy

I honestly feel like you'd really enjoy Young Justice 98!! It's such a fun comic and I don't think you need much backstory on the DC characters beforehand. Also maybe I'm projecting but maybe pick up Batgirl 2000. Almost every issue is so peak, it's definitely a much more gothic read but it's still super fun!!

Also, if you don't dig the DC comics, one of my favourite manhwas of all time is "No Home" and it's genuinly one of the best online comics I have ever read. DO CHECK THE TW though, it's very fun but the overall theme explores many different kinds of trauma like familial abuse and it can get intense at times.

oh FUCK yes ! wanted to pick up a few Marvel/DC comics for a while. The Watchmen are definitely on my list, heard someone sing praises. also just seems interesting as FUCK. there was another one that got mentioned on a panel that i attended last year. i just CANNOT find it ! infuriating.

i THINK the cover i saw had a purple/pink ghost nuclear family standing outside an open door to some suburban house. i remember it to be quite. unexciting. the panel was about reality bending in comics think

the other comics i apparently found to be exciting enough to write down on that panel were: Acting Class by Nick Drnaso and Negative Space by Owen Gieni and Ryan K Lindsay
