absolutely! i think it would be quite a challenge to provide them with all the info, but in today’s day we can use online resources and so on to help out with that.
i think there would have to be a space for them to meet friends and interact with other kids, but that could be arranged by going to kid friendly events. if they had the interaction they need, and if i had the resources to take some pressure off of myself as a parent i’d absolutely homeschool my kids.

Omg same!!
As long as they have ways to make friends, homeschooling seems like an amazing idea.
I remember when I was a kid my routine was: go to school, come back home, do home work, eat dinner, shower, sleep, then repeat.
Going to school killed my curiosity, I had no time to be curious or creative. I had to spend my time acing my classes. So I had zero passion for anything. Home schooling sounds like a better childhood than going to school like how I did.

You guys are just talking about its pros though and it's not easy to homeschool a kid. There's a lot of things that could go wrong with it.First off I think school is better for both the parents and the kid cause it's 1 less thing to worry about for the parents which is positive and you see when a person get stressed it could affect the kid so it's a win on both sides in that aspect. Second off school is a disciplined official environment where you have to follow rules and have to meet new people and socialize. You might say not every kid is sociable or they don't want to but it's very important to know that sometimes you just have to talk to someone even if you don't want to. Third off actual teachers.
As for its cons, you start to get oppressed by grades and competition at an early age, there could be bad teachers or kids, nobody teaches you how to actually socialize and empathy with others and you might have to learn stuff the hard way like me, A LOT of homework, less personal attention for the kid.
I personally think kid events wouldn't work and some of the cons are just how life works like how it's a less personalized environment could teach the kid they aren't that different from the others. It's just a harsh environment for a kid but I think it's overall better because learning something the hard way also means it's more effective.

We do be focusing on the good side of home schooling yeah
You make awesome points. For me the good side outweigh the bad side.
Obviously homeschooling children will take a lot of effort and I’m up for it. I definitely need a backup plan in case it doesn’t workout.
School trains you to obey, comply, submit, to make you convenient for the government. You don’t need to go to school to adapt to official environment. Not gonna argue abt this, if you know you know.

here in my area? absolutely without a second thought. tw in the school i graduated from there was this one girl who was sexually assaulted multiple times by her bf who is still in jail today for some stuff that caught up to him ig, nothing was done to him by the school and she had to deal with the punishment of being in lunch detention for "her safety" even when he moved schools she was still there for the next year after, the woman in charge of the lunch detention room treated her like she deserved to be there AND most of her classes were moved instead of the abusive kid, and even then that did nothing. there was an incident the same year a cop was constantly talking to the girls and talked about their chest sizes and whatever tf and at his prime of it he pinned a middleschool girl against a wall and tried groping her up until she was able to run off, ALL caught on camera, school tried silencing everyone and even had an announcement about "fake rumours", cop was just transferred to another school to touch another girl. half the teachers in my school hated children for some reason idek why they wanted to do teaching in the first place. there are a couple of gems out there but if youre hoping your teachers will try for you at least around me you might as well give up. a LOT of stuff was silenced by the school, vandalism in the bathrooms, if you guys remember that one tiktok trend to rip up the fucking toilet and smash mirrors that was the PEAK of vandalism. and supposedly my school was one of the better ones around new york. no ac or heat but the school had the funds to rebuild an entire third of their building (still no functioning ac or heat), old equipment and electronics we were using since who knows how long. plenty of rumours from bratty kids who get around teachers to get their way to single kids out a group hated for no reason. the cons of public/private schooling outweigh the cons of homeschooling, but imo the biggest issue for homeschooling if i had all the time in the world would be them trying to make friends
