is anybody else also TERRIFIED of butterflies?!

i know it sounds ridiculous, but butterflies scare me. like actually scare me.
if one flies near me, i cry. no warning, no logic. it just happens.
the worst ones are the weird-colored ones. the ones with patterns that don’t make sense, like eyes or faces. they freak me out. it’s like they’re pretending to be something they’re not.
everyone says “but they’re so pretty!” and yeah — that’s part of why it’s so unsettling. they move like they’re glitching. soft and silent but wrong. i hate it.
fear doesn’t have to make sense. mine just has wings and too many colors.
