What the heck is up with the Switch 2!?!

Price of the console is okay and on par with what the components cost.

The games costing 80 is mostly a sign of dev costs going up combined with inflation - game prices haven't been adjusted for inflation in a LONG time. That said: Plenty of publishers are going to use that excuse to also raise the prices for games that would have been cheaper.

And in the case of Nintendo the problem is gonna be that their games don't depreciate in value over time, so that's not gonna be fun.
