favorite beatles-adjacent artist?

(never use this site... but its ok.)

Anyway, what I mean by "Beatle-Adjacent" is a group/artist is a group with a Beatle, someone who's worked with a Beatle, or someone who's been heavily inspired by the Beatles.

My two favorites would have to be the Monkees or Grapefruit. The Monkees practically wouldn't exist without movies like "Help!" or "A Hard Day's Night", with their TV show basically being "Help!" the show. I still can find enjoyment out of that. Also, their earlier music has some Beatle sound to it (although later they do make their own kind of music which is also enjoyable.) There is also Grapefruit, which came from John Lennon and Paul McCartney. They helped produce the band under the Apple Label from 1967 to (about) 1970. They're a less popular choice under Apple bands or Beatle-adjacent artists, but I absolutely love their music. I completely recommend listening to their music if you're interested in later-60s psychedelic music (Their album "Around Grapefruit" 1968) or if you're into something a bit more country/heavy rock inspired music that got pretty popular in the early 70s ("Deep Water" 1969).

Now, what would be your favorite? And why?
