Does anyone know where I can find older electronics that WON'T cost me an arm and a leg? I've tried kijiji and marketplace but I can't seem to find much on either, I just want an old flip phone again man ):

if your just looking for old electronics in general check out thrift stores, ones near me have bins full of that stuff

if ur looking for sumthing functional ebay is ur best bet, but any secondhand website is also fine ^^

check your local online secondhand shops. try to find a few thrift stores or flea markets in your area. mercari japan might have some japan-exclusive electronics that you may be looking for. if everything else fails, try websites like eBay or facebook marketplace. best of luck!

Good luck finding an old flip phone that still works properly - I have a modern one and it only cost me about $25 for the initial hardware, and $40 every three months or so to keep it running (unlimited talk and text, no data). I went to Walmart, they keep them locked up because they're almost exclusively used by drug dealers. The markets for working old electronics have been ruined by speculators - much of the market is just resellers buying from each other to try and make a profit - there's very little in the way of actual enthusiasts and collectors - at least in my experience.
