The first time I ever heard about hotline miami was probably somewhere around early 2013 when I was browsing YouTube i stumbled across a video of someone playing the game and my 12 year old self completely lost himself the games story and difficulty got me so excited to play that I rushed to steam to try to play now obviously me being 12 that meant I have no money so the moment I saw the price of the game and realised I gotta pay i got sad because I really really wanted to try it so I was like that spongebob meme where squidward is standing in his room looking through the window at Patrick and spongebob have fun outside....BUT I had a really good friend at the time who was able to find a site that pirated the game and the moment I lunched the game and my GOD it was perfect even though I was being killed nonstop by the difficult enemies but my ass was happy I was like that image of the dog with the propeller hat and lollipop but as I was playing i wasn't much understanding the story why was jacket killing people why was it mostly Russians why in the end we are left with a cliffhanger as I got older and now we jump to 2016 im 15 and hotline miami 2 came out in 2015 but this time I bought it and I played it and all the unanswered questions I had when I was 12 all got answered in that game I was honestly shocked at how well the second game was able to explain so much but also keep somethings still hidden or left for our imagination even now in present im already 20 and this game is still fresh in my mind if it has to be the the well built characters the amazing levels the difficult enemies or even the perfect music the game had that i still listen to when im at work this game left a big impact in my life sometimes I even ask myself questions related to hotline miami and just how much it means to me in conclusion hotline miami is GOOD
