I prefer to see the country as combination of controlled democracy, kleptocracy, and probably reactionary; which basically make it betrayed the ideas of Pancasila (5 Principles). Something like . . .

  • Religious intolerance and radicalism (the opposite of first principle)
  • Roaring echochambers and ragebaiting (the opposite of second principle)
  • Individualism over greater good (the opposite of third principle)
  • Violence over discussion (the opposite of fourth principle), and . . .
  • Justified degeneracy and corruption for the elites and majority, but not the minority (the opposite of fifth principle)

really turn Indonesia to basically "smaller, crazier reddit-like state" (that's for my perspectives thought)
