is there really a lot of old aged ppl?? im like 13 years old lol (its my first time here)

im lit convinced that all those oldiez r p3doz like... ;_;

just jumping in to say a couple things - it's absurd to be
disagreeing over what age group is right or wrong to be here; this
website is directly inspired by the old myspace that millennials grew up
on so how is it any surprise people of that age group want to hang out
here? secondly - and i am in my 30s so this is me speaking to others my
age - i get that it feels bad to be told you're old but teens have a
right to be here and carve out their own spaces too (and arguably, they
need it more than we do). some of us are here reminiscing on the heyday
of myspace when we were teens, so it seems a little rich to be acting
like we don't remember what it was like to be that age (in case you need
this particular reminder, we also thought 30 year olds were old and
preferred to be in teen-only spaces). please get some perspective and be nice to kids!!! it's not hard!

also, obviously young people need to be very careful to avoid predators online, but i feel like people of all ages have forgotten that it can be a good thing to interact with people who are a different age to you. we all have something to offer other age groups (friendship? advice? weird niche knowledge about rare birds? pokemon cards? a loaf of bread? idk), and to generalise any generation as worthless to another is desperately depressing. have y'all never got anything positive from spending time with a grandparent? a younger cousin? a cool aunt? your baby nephew? (that's not at all to say the only people worth being around are your family, it's just a touchpoint i figure many people probably have)

Facebook used to be ours (millennials) until our employers and older family joined and began watching and responding to our every move. So we also know too well the cringe-struggle of sharing a space with the older generation.
