I absolutely adore these genres but I meet very few people into them.
Current favorites for me are: Melvins (Seen live), Mephistofeles, Acid Bath, Sleep, EYEHATEGOD (Seen live), Elder, Weedeater (seen live), Bongzilla, and of course Electric Wizard
I also make Sludge metal when I have time to pick up my Bass or Guitar, something about the plodding heaviness is like meditation to me after a long workday.
