Not necessarily midwest emo but somewhere on that spectrum is The Front Bottoms, Sorry Ghost (please give them a listen they're really small!), and I'd say Never Shout Never could fit too.
For pop punk.. it's kinda hard to name not well known bands haha, but you can try Cute Is What We Aim For, Sugarcult, AFI (more just punk but yk), and Zebrahead!
