ᵕ̈ A better Internet requires:

  • Ones that encourage Kindness and Respect
  • Positive Content Promotion
  • Decent Moderation WITH LEVEL-HEADED MOD TEAMS
  • Have Great Countermeasures Against Spams and Explicit Content

But, unfortunately, we can't achieve the first and second without great countermeasure against malicious actors or moderation team without bordering or becoming megalomaniacs with delusions of grandeur; I'm looking at you, reddit. The Internet was better when it's decentralized, far and few yet kinder people got ahold of it. But, those were the days of yore.
