To be more topic, I lwk miss certain aspects of fandoms, like, old parts of them. I do miss how active Undertale was (and the cool mv's that followed), but I do NOT miss people shipping frisk/chara or drawing them aged up just to be shipped. (I shudder at the thought of that one au where Frisk is a singer/performer and Sans was this bigass guy who was lwk creepy towards Frisk, the name is not coming to me at the moment)

Shippers are a different beast and always been in any fandom's underbelly. Y'know the kinds. Don't defend those ones. I've only met a few that I could count on one hand in my lifetime, and I'd prefer to stay that way.

I’ll give the UT fandom this, it taught me basics of fandom culture damn well. The art, the weird AUs and shipping, the roleplay, all the comic dubs and animations, the communities within the community, everything from kin culture to the weird toxic parts on Kik back in it’s (gross) prime. Was lucky to be spared from most of the Amino thing because my dumb ass couldn’t figure out how to work the site, but yea. Fandom at its peak is like a whole different world.
