Second Sight and Prototype 1 & 2 are genuinely underrated masterpieces, both are engaging and really fun.

Fantasy Life, and the Yokai Watch series of games.

Sonic Unleashed, while it does garner a fair amount of praise today, doesn't get nearly the respect it should get. This game should have simply been revered as the masterpiece it is.

YIIK: A Postmodern RPG. people are FAR too harsh on it.

super paper mario on the wii, it has a really good story & great gameplay. you can play as mario, peach, & bowser :) they all have their own unique abilities & you have to use all of them to go through different worlds, one of my favorite games of all time

Can't underscore how much I see people talking about the Pro Skater games and how little I see people mention the Underground games.

Tony Hawk's Underground 1 and 2 were a big departure from the THPS series - mechanically and storywise - and coming from someone who grew up playing the THUG games and never being able to touch the THPS games (or American Wasteland for that matter) - I hate to see them not get the recognition they deserve.

Bitchin' stories, Bitchin' soundtracks, Bitchin' memories. It's telling that the biggest fan-run continuation is built on the back of THUG 2.

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 

The NPCs and Dialogue have a layer of depth that is so rarely seen both in classic and modern games, add to that he game is just plain fun. Be sure to download the unofficial patch tho

Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes is a fun wii/ps3 title. It's a musou game but it plays similarly to devil may cry (it also helps that capcom also made it). It's the best musou game in my opinion and i'd recommend everyone who likes hack and slash games to check this title out.

Dogz - A cute GBA game I used to spend all my time on as a kid.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex - Was it technically good? Not really, but I loved it anyway and it had some good ideas.

Honestly I feel like a lot of handheld games get overlooked. Mario Kart DS, Pokémon Yellow (I literally never hear anyone talking about it), etc.

oneshot for sure, i find it baffling how little attention it gets compared to other indie games ;_; i absolutely bawled my eyes out on my first playthrough...

Neo The World Ends With You and 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim are some of the most unique, creative, and well written games their respective studios have ever put out, but they were killed by the complete refusal to advertise them in any capacity. 

Also Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. I've never heard anyone talk about it ever, but it's really good

i'm surprised that the cat lady is not more talked about, when similar games (eg. sally face) are

Spiritfarer. It's more of a chill game but needs more recognition none the less 

Killer Instinct 2013 doesn't get enough love imo. It's so close to Xbox Smash Bros it's not even funny, the soundtrack is boss (shout-out Mick Gordon, Atlas Plug, and Celldweller), and the gameplay fucking rules. 

I sincerely think that TimeSplitters Future Perfect is a REALLY underrated gem for the ps2. The game has incredible customization, great maps, a fantastic 1 or 2 player campaing, great gameplay and a ton of gamemodes, and yet non of my friends had even heard of it, such a shame.

Nights Both the orriginal game and the Wii game! I also think that Gungrave is very underrated along with El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron and No straight roads! these are all cool and underrated games i hear like little to no one talk about! 

what remains of edith finch !!!!! I once saw a youtuber playing it years ago and absolutely fell in love its such a beautiful game the graphics are terrifyingly perfect and the story left me jaw dropped. also srry if im overreacting but i just LOVE that game
