Am I the only one devastated about the fall of little big planet?! I have seen a couple youtube videos about it, but honestly I grew up playing LBP and I feel like I never hear anyone my age talk about it, and when I ask they never know about it... is it not as universal as i thought? It's one of Sony's most successful games (at least of that era) I thought!

spent lots of time on lbp2 online mode. was sad to see it go but honestly I'm not surprised people forgot about it, they most likely played lbp2 or 3 and moved on with their lives after the game before or after servers shut down, lbp really lost relevance past 2020 onward so yeah

i never actually played any of the lbp games, thought that's likely cause i was a nintendo kid growing up with only nintendo consoles (wii, wii u, ds, 3ds, etc.), so anything playstation exclusive, lbp included, i missed out on. i feel like this series would be something i'd like though, cause i already love platformers, and lbp just has that vibe to it yknow? sackboy himself is very charming i really like that little guy

it's a crying shame that, outside of like... the couple things related to sackboy's big adventure (i think a sackboy youtooz released under that name and not lbp) and the reference in astro bot, sony just doesn't care about the series anymore... not like sony's got a good track record of treating their legacy franchises well though

i'm heartbroken about the lbp server being shut down. I don't think there would be another game like it
