Forum: Reclaiming the Internet Group

dont be afraid to show off ur personality

no one is going to attack u here u are safe to be yourself

if someone calls u a yapper for making posts with words fucking block them. they are fucking lost if they think a forum site has too many words for them.

if u want friends on spacehey u gotta show people who u are.

use blogs like how you would make a website all about you!!

here are some blog ideas:

  • photo galleries
  • art drops
  • "shrine" posts
  • anime or game reviews
  • music recommendations
  • journals (literally what vlogs and story times came from was diary blogs)
  • drop a list of your links
  • write guides for stupid things no one will care about

dont worry about making "series" blogs because they will come naturally to you! think of it as more of a personal website. so if you would write blogs again and again about video games make that a "series" and call it your video game reviews. (if you want to keep things organized you can even make a "master post" blog and link all of your game reviews on the blog for example.)

you can even customize blogs with html and css!! (i know a lot of people know this but a lot of people dont)

blogs are cool too cuz unlike forum posts or bulletins you can set different privacy settings on them! so you can even make blogs that are only for you to see or blogs that you need a link to see!!

just dont be afraid to make blogs that have a ton of words, blogs where you are passionate or excitable about what youre talking about, blogs that are personal (you can adjust the privacy settings if its vent or something), or blogs that only get a few kudos. (blogs dont erase after 10 days too so you will have plenty of time to get more kudos years after u make ur blog).

if you havent made a blog yet, remember, the first one is never the best one.

happy blogging!!

[this was a bulletin post but some commenters told me to post it to the forum so you can find it again lol]

What do you mean by a shrine post?

shrines are just infodumps on your special interests. neurotypical people can join in too!

think of presenting a power point on your favorite thing.

for examples, someone into beanie babies, minecraft, or nine inch nails, etc

its more personal than a wiki fandom page because its why YOU like it! so highlight all of your favorite things.

gush about why minecraft bees are so perfect and cute or rank ptv band members in order of how hot you think they are. or write a list of all of the beanie babies you have collected and ones you really would love to own but dont.

also, if you love collecting stamps for example editing the css layout on a shrine blog can be a GREAT place to store your collection! :3

you can edit the css code differently from your typical blog and profile themes to match the shrine youre gushing over. so a minecraft background image and a diamond pickaxe for a cursor instead of a typical scene kid layout.

you can even link to multiple blogs under the same shrine topic, for example if you really love 07th expansion or nitro plus visual novels (ME) you can link to blogs you wrote about different novels they have made or different characters in those visual novels.

i really hope that helps! :D
