Profile *Design* Pet Peeves? [pinned]

Sort of what the first topic was originally intending, since a lot of people answered with general pet peeves (which I don't really mind)...

What are your Spacehey profile DESIGN pet-peeves?

I'm kinda coming in hot here so...

1. Generic blinkie walls... lame. refer to the previous topic if your ass is burning.

2. Anime profile pictures. Not much to add except the fact that, well, they've taken over the entire fucking website, go look at "cool new people". An should rebrand this place to "Sensei– A place for losers". (I once called my mom "sensei" when she helped me study... would take that to the grave if I wasn't already there.)

3. Raining shit. Unsure of what else to call them so enlighten me if you will, but that's what they are. they inconsiderately block all navigation 90% of the time, and make me want to grab an umbrella I don't have.

4. Any overused layout. I just click off.

Aaand I'm done complaining! A lil bit of misery has left me for the time being! Might even update this, or turn it into one big, bitter blog. Now gimme your bitchy bouts of misery, you're welcome here, y'know.

for me i just really really dislike scenecore layouts... they are very obnoxious and SO hard to read... no hate to those who do have scenecore profiles but omg it is actually a nightmare to look at

There’s very little I can add to what you said. It’s so hard adding people on here because I’m so picky with just their layout alone… everything is very generic.

- Flashing lights as those “welcome videos”

- Text colours that bleed into the page

- Adding on to your profile picture slander, using the most generic and popular pfp, I don’t know why but it bugs me… for no reason.

My profile is quite simple, my pfp is that of my own vtuber model. That I am reworking on. I also agree with a lot of what was described here.

i struggle to have many gripes because i find most messiness on profiles endearing and charming but if it were to be one it would be userbars being placed in the interests section

the reason why is because they always appear really ridiculously small on them and i have to squint to actually see what they say when im not supposed to... meanwhile if you put them in the blurbs section they can be seen how they were supposed to

messiness is kinda essential, it is myspace afterall, I don't like overly minimalistic profiles but what I do like to see some harmony in the chaos. I do like your profile, it is colorful and flashy but I can see there's some thought put into it
