Personally it can go both ways for me part of me doesn’t want them to make a show at all cause I grew up on the Harry Potter movies and don’t want them to ruin them or change them but the other part of me is kinda excited for the show and to see how it plays out and see what the new generation of Harry Potter fans are gonna get cause the new Harry Potter show is gonna be what the new Harry Potter fans will grow up on most likely and I kinda wanna see how it’s gonna go

I hate the new cast with passion. Like, don't get me wrong I have nothing against the actors themselves they're just doing their job, but why race swap ppl?!! It's ridiculous, there's no reason to do that other than to appeal to a small percentage of Twitter users who whine about "not enough people of color" in every damn media. Like, yeah I agree there should be more representation but race swapping already beloved characters is not the way! If we want more representation we should CREATE new characters, not change the old ones!

i'm not particularly against it, but i'm really upset they decided to just remake the main series instead of expanding on the WORLDBUILDING!!!! like c'mon, a show about the first wizarding world would be WAY more interesting -.- or even a show about the sacred 28, or the other wizarding schools (really wish they told us more about ilvermorny or the rest of the wizarding world!!! i don't care about the UK...)
