The meaning of a sideways cross necklace in christianity?

I recently recieved a sideways cross necklace as a gift in a christian event. I started doing some research since I've never seen a necklace like that. I also want to make sure if it has deeper meanings since it's different than what I've worn before (a regular looking one).

I searched the meaning but the results were different. Some sources say its meaning is the same as normal one's, but some others say that it's very disrespectful to wear a sideways cross necklace..

What do y'all think/say?

As far as Cross types, Scandinavian Cross is the only one I know that is sideways. It's sideways for practical reasons for when being put on Flags. There really isn't much symbolic meaning behind a sideways cross. The best one I found would be a symbolism for when Christ carried the Cross during Calvary, But I doubt that the neckless has anything to do with that. I belive that the whole reason it's sideways is purely an aesthetic choice from the people who made it.
