no idea how "deep" into visual novels you are but assuming your a beginner:
Saya no uta. Its an eroge a bit more on the "disturbing" side but its tense and really good if your looking for something short.
IMPORTANT! the steam version is censored so you will need a patch for the full experience (JAST version doesnt have this issue btw)
or
Higurashi. A classic, very famous horror series and the first chapter is freeeeeeee! Its also very long so if you liked the first chapter thankfully you'll have alot more waiting for you ahead its all very good.
IMORTANT! I feel like at this point the 07th Mod is mandatory at this point it upgrades everything about the experience (i would highly recommend playing with the original sprites btw)
