Auto Course

Hi, next year I’m going to be joining a skill center partially so I don’t have to go to school and partially because I want to learn a trade. I’m entering the Auto-Mechanic Repair Course, and I’ve read through a bunch of free online textbooks but they look hella old- Any car experts or mechanic enthusiasts have advice for me?
