Auto Course

Hi, next year Iโ€™m going to be joining a skill center partially so I donโ€™t have to go to school and partially because I want to learn a trade. Iโ€™m entering the Auto-Mechanic Repair Course, and Iโ€™ve read through a bunch of free online textbooks but they look hella old- Any car experts or mechanic enthusiasts have advice for me?

That sounds like a solid plan Learning a trade like auto-mechanic repair is a smart move. Donโ€™t worry too much about older textbooksโ€”many core concepts still apply, but try to balance them with hands-on practice and newer online resources like forums, YouTube channels, and manufacturer manuals. Real-world experience matters a lot, whether itโ€™s working on cars or even seeing how related fields like dryer repair and other mechanical systems are handled professionally. Stay curious, ask questions, and youโ€™ll pick things up quickly.
