Any recs? ^_^

I don't need it to do much! But I'd like something that lets me change themes, do basic markdown (highlighting text etc.), lets me add in-document hyperlinks, and that has good plug-in support.

Do they work well outside of coding? Notepad++ is my main code editor rn (along with VScode). And I tried Atom in the past when I first started getting into coding but I didn't like the UI that much.

I've never considered using them outside of coding. I was looking for something along the lines of Microsoft world or Google docs

I guess VSCodium is an open source fork of VSCode

ooh, my bad! i was thinking more of programming-based text editor rather than something closer to a word processor. hmm... while they might still work ok outside of programming, maybe for things closer to docs/word you could try LibreOffice, AbiWord or Jarte? i'm not super familiar with them but they look close to what you want or would at least be a good pivot point to looking for similar apps. good luck!
