first arachnid pinning in me life!! (pic)

hi!! so some time ago I've finished pinning my first ever piece and I can't say I'm very proud of it. I think the way I posed her legs is sort of terrible, I probably should have gone for the symmetrical look most professional taxidermists do. I also know I could have stuffed the abdomen more and seal it off better, the visible cotton is pissing me off lolz. overall I think it looks very clunky, and I hope to do a better job in the future. However I'm very grateful my friend trusted me with his spider's shed for a project like this (he actually didn't know what I'm gonna do with it, I just asked if I can have her shed and he's supportive of my odd collections so he agreed, love that guy) and I hope that it's not the last time I can get my hands on a tarantula's shed! it was a fun experience, although stressful and it didn't turn out the best. Any tips on how to make such projects look better in the future would be appreciated, or just generally any opinion on how I did <3the finished product of my first pinning, low-key hate the green background too
