I'll try getting into neocities someday when I kickstart this story idea I had. But I'm too lazy as of now (the story idea I mean)

Yes. Thats how it used to be.
Everyones geocities or aol hometown page was THEIR page. It was them, on a screen. Like kids with a new box of crayons, we tore it up and covered the internet with gifs, starfields, and colors.
