Spacehey profile pet peeves?

I totally agree especially if they seem so out of place as if the user just copies a bunch of blinkies from the layouts , I don’t mind them if they’re picked individually and the user relates to them though…. That’s kinda the whole point of stamps and blinkies right?

I personally don’t like friend collectors if u have over 300 RANDOM friends there’s no way I’d accept a friend request from those kind

Oh also private profiles I know everyone has their own choice to decide whether to make it public or not but I just think it’s so unnecessary on here like WHATS THE POINT?

and yeah! friend-collecting is a problem here. I do have over 300 friends, but that's after what's going to be 4 years on this site and going through my friendlist a gazillion times... some people aquire a thousand within a week.

personally I don't add private profiles. they creep me out, and honestly for good reason because it's usually weirdos hiding in em.

There are two things that bother me about some SpaceHey users:

It bothers me when users create an account, use it for a few days or weeks, and then abandon it.

It also bothers me a little when they copy and paste MySpace layout codes into their SpaceHey profiles. SpaceHey doesn't adapt perfectly to those layouts, which can cause errors and make the layout malfunction. It would be best to modify the layouts to fit SpaceHey's settings.

oh i got SO many!!

1. THAT one "scenecore" layout

2. unreadable text

3. those creepy dudes who only add girls thinking this is a dating site or sum. i call them "the female collectors" cause their entire friends list is just girls lol

4. custom cursors that barely work and wont let you click anything

5. musicians who add ppl only to promote their music... like sorry but no one really cares

6. ppl who send friend requests even tho their profile is completely blank. i instantly decline them cause how am i supposed to add you if i know NOTHING about you? stop trying to be mysterious and give me something to work with!

7. ppl who are in ur dni and still add u. i specified idk how many times i dont add anyone under 16 and yet i still get friend requests from those ppl sometimes. like what makes u think you'll be an exception?? smh

blinkie/stamp hoards stress me out because the completionist in me says I need to read all of them before I leave the page..

good question and good answers. I'm picky with accepting friends, and to be honest I don't really send friend requests either... so I have a lot. 

1. Unreasonably bright and crowded profiles - hurts my eyes in numerous ways
2. unreadable font and font colour 
3. stating no common interests with me (or very little) yet friending me anyway
4. having the title "friend-collector" on their profile as if that's something to be proud of - plus the amount of friends they have
5. I haven't seen this much anymore, but raw meat photos - I don't get it
6. Writing verry little or nothing at all in their interests and about me column 
   
   
   
   the list of my profiles 'do's' would be simpler 

when someone's layout is so broken or full of hovering images that the view gets blocked or you can't click anything.... also that scenecore layout and when people use the site for like two days and then never use it again

LOL for whatever reason idm clashing blinkies and stamp hoards and find it personally oddly charming...

however i dislike it when users put their userbars down on their interests section since they always come out very tiny and i have to squint or zoom in on the images if i want to properly read the text on them

meanwhile if you put them somewhere down the blurbs section... they look a lot better and can actually be seen the way they were originally supposed to be seen

I dislike it when they have a ton of floating GIFs, especially when they block the contacts

Also dislike when there are an overwhelming amount of stamps or blinkies, it's unappealing

uuuh too many lol. 

1- when theyre young as! theres so many 14-15 year olds on here, it sucks. and they try to add me all the same. why would i want to be friends with someone that young??

2- entry screens. uuuuaahh theyre annoying, especially when they go on for for ages. short quick one are fine but still kinda eeehhh 

3- when theyre really tik tok-y. words like sigma, skibidi, blah blah blah

4- anime pfps. i wont add someone with an anime pfp. 

I'm a simple man, preaching a simple message so the no. 1 pet peeve I have on profiles is 88x31 pixel buttons. Namely - THEM NOT ACTING AS BUTTONS. They were made to link places and people here seem to use them predominantly as stamps. Despite the fact that stamps are just objectively better at that. That and also the fact that microsoft uses one for visual studio and they made it 90x32, but that's not site-related, it's more of a fun-fact.

might be a little contradictory for me to say as i'm young myself (turning 17 in some months) but i always get a bit taken aback when i see anyone that's under 14 here, even more so when they're sending me friend requests. i think i've seen a couple 11 to 12-year olds here which is crazy to me

people with stuff on their profiles that block out text. like when they have their fav character covering their "who id like to meet"

and i hate the windows xp layout. i love the overall look and get the appeal but the buttons for adding on the taskbar throws me off so bad im sorry but i cant stand it

Really sloppily done profiles in general… The ones that feel like they picked a layout and then slapped whatever they thought looked good on it. I just kinda hate it when things don’t match, and while mismatching can be fun most of the time it doesn’t even look cute on here… Just lazy. I fear I unfortunately suffer this w my current profile a little so I plan to change it up soon since I haven’t done anything with it in too long…
