My fave poster is DEFO the one for 1979 "Alien" made by Jakub Erol (I have it printed and hanged above my bed) and the one for "The Shining" by Leszek Żebrowski

well, well... didn't expect to find a post of this kind so fast here! it feels impossible for me to choose my favourites - there's just so many great works to choose from! however, the first person that comes to my mind whenever i hear about polish school of poster art is Jacx Staniszewski, and he's still active to this day:)
such a shame though that here in Poland almost no one seems to have any idea anymore that this golden era had a place in time - even in film studies, that i dropped out of a few weeks ago to make it funnier.

Staniszewski's work is so cool, I love how he does faces (I may be Bias cuz i love surrealism :PP)
But yea, I didn't know this art movement was a thing untill last summer when I attended some summer painting course in local ASP. One of our tasks was to make a painting styled like that and since then I've been just Obsessed.
I miss times when we had a cool poster accompanying the movie... Shame it ended ;-;
