Note, this is for Windows 10 22h2.

Suggestions will be posted here.

Old Windows 10 Background (From Build 10240 to Build 21376)

Winaero Tweaker (Windows 10 search bar text change, No blur on login screen, .etc)

MS Generation Project (Gets old UWP apps from 2015 like Camera, Photos and even Alarms & Clock) (Note: Change RP to Retail for better results)

Old File Explorer Icon from 1507 (extracted by me)

TileIconifier (Transform UWP apps into designs from 2015-2016)

ClockPositionRighteousifier (Move the clock to the right just like in 1507 and 1511)

Old Start Menu Color and Old Folder: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FeatureManagement\Overrides\0\2093230218, go to regedit.exe for this and replace EnabledState's value to 0.

Old default profile picture (used in 1507-21H2)

Old Login Screen (Used in 1507-1511)

Old Microsoft Edge Icons (From older versions of Windows 10)

Old Microsoft Store (2017-2019 version, 2015 version of the store won't work on newer version of Windows) (Will not work) (If you want to still install UWP apps) Use the .exe installer of Microsoft Store given.

Old OneNote, and Get Skype (Found and extracted in 1507) (Extracted by me)

Cortana Revival (Not accurate enough)

StartIsBack gets the old search bar color

Bonus:

If you want to extract old apps from older Windows 10 Builds, listen.

1. Open a virtual machine, Either, VirtualBox (Free) or VMWare (Paid)

2. After setup, add a shared folder so that you can test out the apps using VBox Guest Additions or VMWare tools.

3. Go to C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

4. If you can't access, go to Properties by right-clicking, and then go to security and changing your name on it.

5. You'll see something like "Microsoft.Windows.Photos_16.1118.10000.2000"

6. Open the folder that has AppxManifest.xml on it

7. Download WSAppBak, a program that turns folders to appx.

8. After unzipping, run the program.

9. Follow the steps of the program, be sure to use the folder that has AppxManifest.xml on it.

10. Your done. You can also share it here.

Be sure, that you must uninstall the latest version of the UWP app using HiBitUninstaller. Then, you can proceed. Windows Store and Phone Companion App Is tested on 22H2 and confirms that they do not work anymore.

To make it a bit more accurate, go to settings, turn system icons on or off.

Disable these things that are not featured in Windows 10 RTM:

Input Indicator

Touch Keyboard

Windows Ink Workspace

Touchpad

Microphone

Meet Now

Now, it should look like this:

Known RTM Features unable to implement or change on 22H2:

Start Menu

Search Page

No Settings Header

Old Action Center Layout with old names of quick actions like this: RTM: Quiet Hours, 22H2: Focus Assist

Changing the task view icon and action center icon (got lines in RTM version). Except for the help of shortcuts (Only Task View)

The very white context menu on File Explorer

You can actually get the old task view icon AND action centre icon. Infact, you can even get the Cortana icon back.

First of all, download and install ExplorerPatcher. Then, download this modified ep_taskbar and move it to your ExplorerPatcher folder.

Then, open the registry editor, and go to HKCU\SOFTWARE\ExplorerPatcher. First, create a DWORD value called OldTaskbar and set it's value to 2. Then, create another DWORD value called OldActionCenterButton and set it's value to 1. After that, restart your explorer and you should have the old action centre, task view, and cortana icons!

P.S: You shouldn't use StartIsBack to get the dark search box back. Instead, you should download Beautysearch. Do not click Install or anything like that, instead click the Settings icon, then check "Enforce Dark Search Box". Also, click "Edit Search Box Text" and change it to "Ask me anything".

ExplorerPatcher is missing, because it gives us the old Search and Task View icon, and to have the old Action Center, you'll have to install this instead of the original: https://www.mediafire.com/file/vdvklbi96iecy50/ep_setup.exe/file
