Im currently working on making my Windows 10 laptop look more like a Vista one, rn i got retrobar and openshell installed to make the taskbar and start menu look like it, i also got a desktop gadget program and the old Sticky Notes from Win7 using WinAeroTweaker, does anyone else know of other ways to make my laptop resemble Vista?

but at this point why wouldn't you just use vista?
there's a kernel compatibility mode somewhere on github to run modern apps on stock windows vista, and it works great, but you should be careful though its an outdated and insecure operating system

Id prefer to use a more up to date OS (even though this version of Win10 in particular is around 6 years old at this point). I will probably put Vista or Win7 onto a compatible laptop or pc when i get the money to buy an older device

looks super good! going off of the previous commenter, if you want to use an older windows os, look into dual booting. it's a way to have more than one os on the same computer and upon startup, you get the option of which os you want to boot into. that way, you won't need to buy a separate computer to use windows vista or xp
