Nostalgic games/consoles

Anyone want to talk about old consoles/games? Growing up I spent most of time gaming on my old PS3 (which somehow still works now!), and every so often I like to go back to it and replay games like LittleBigPlanet 3 (I also had a LittleBigPlanet go-karting game?), Sonic and this virtual pet game called Eyepet. I still love the frutiger aero design of the PS3 and the violin orchestra startup sound, do you guys have any consoles/games you played a lot in the past?

Constantly, probably more than current games. I have every generation of Nintendo console in a neat little CRT corner of my office and constantly have the NES, SNES or N64 hooked up and running. The Gamecube will probably forever be my favorite console for the aesthetics of the games at the time, but the "pick up and play" aspect of a lot of older games keeps me turning to those more.

Even with VR, I spend most of my time playing older pinball tables from the 70's-90's. It's a huge comfort thing for me. I still enjoy some modern gaming, for sure, but nothing beats the hum of a CRT and a completely free night to get lost in these older games.

i've had many game consoles growing up. but my fav has to be the ps2, nintendo wii and psp. both my wii and psp are both modded and have many games on them. as for my ps2 i have a freemcboot card with another card that holds a sd card with many games loaded on it. yeah playing retro games brings me back to when i was younger in the 2000s/early 2010s when i would chill in my room and play video games and play on the computer looking up random stuff. good times

SNES is my go-to.  It was my first system as a kid and it's my ultimate nostalgia machine but also a really great system with many awesome titles, and to this day there are still a lot of obscure games on SNES that I have never played or played but never beaten them.
