Is 4:3 or 16:9 better

I'd say just go with 16:9 since it's what most screens use nowadays, 4:3 is fine but it's not really a common aspect ratio to use anymore.

if u want oldie style use 4:3 4:5 or some othwr ratios 

if it's modern then use 16:9 

really it just depends on what u wanna do 

some ppl use both if they are creative enough

Personally… I prefer the 4:3 because I think stuff like 2:39.1 are overused… i use lesser used aspect ratios like 16:11.5… (which I personally use a lot) I would say 4:3 because of my personal taste… but it’s your show so… do whatever you want!

for a tv show, i'd generally go with the standard 16:9 ^^

Personally i prefer 4:3 for video and 1:1 for photos

I dont understand the appeal of ultrawide aspect ratio as you end up not being able to focus on half of the screen anyway.
