honestly i can't even remember

the most i remember pre-spacehey is probably when one of my fav musicians made his account and tweeted abt it when titter was still tolerable

Knew about it for a while from my time in the Neocities scene, signed up a long while ago just cuz but didn't really use it.

Seriously got into it in 2025 to try and see if I could find any cool people in my area to get to know and meet. Unfortunately it seems the people I'd most want to see are on the whole other side of the world. 

Honestly, it's just cool to see a more general kind of social media again. The forum is fun to just sort of sift through, and I find its smaller number of members kind of charming, although I would be delighted to see more people use it. It has an old-school vibe in a good way. There isn't an algorithm directly dictating whatever I see. I get to actually surf the web for once when I am on here.

I first made an account on here 3 years ago, when I was really into 2000s internet culture and wanted to properly experience something like Myspace for myself! I was inactive for a while but I'm here again because of my love for forums and blogging, and also the fact that I deleted most of my social media accounts.

My friend showed it to me at a sleepover cuz I wanted to able to use MySpace and he was already using it for about a month

I made my account a couple months after that

Someone on YouTube made a Utau using Vinny and Joel (of Vinesauce fame) and they linked to their SpaceHey page in the description, so I did some looking around and it turns out this place is exactly what I’ve been searching for (been trying to ditch socials, especially with all the algorithms and AI slop, but I want somewhere to post and talk to people)

I made this account 3ish years ago when I was introduced by a friend ! They asked me to make an account since they didn't have a lot of friends or anything on there at the time so I went ahead and join since it already looked cool to me lol 

Idek, but I discovered a website that let's u make blinkies called Blinkies.cafe! After making one, It lets u use the blinkies on Spacehey. At first, I was curious abt that site. But now, I was mesmerized by the layouts and the profile! It looked exactly like the old Myspace, which was a revival. So, I made my account there and had lots of fun making my own profile with html!
