tmk a lot of the hate towards nu metal mostly comes down 2 it mostly appealing 2 edgy teens .. n a lot of the bands in that style repeated the same few ideas 2 death and many of the lyricists for those band werent…. the best XD
but its rly a shame bc i think nu metal is honestly a rly cool and interesting scene!!!! it blends together so many influences like punk and rap and indsutrial and grunge and it resulted in sum gr8 music like soad and deftones and stuf…. theres plenty of cool underground nu metal 2 and sum of the revivalist acts r p gud 2!!!!
also nu metal is metal PERIOD!!!! it is rooted in shared influences with bands like faith no more and primus and helmet being v important ALL of wich r metal!! if any1 talks about a band or a genre not being “real” metal 99% of the time its either elitism or ragebait.. jsyk!! LOL
